Cookie Policy
Cookies keep your cart in place, remember your currency, tell us which pages earn your time, and help us measure our craft in the digital room as carefully as in the workshop. Here is exactly what we use — and how to say no.
1.What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a site. Some are set by us (“first-party”); some by partners whose tools we use (“third-party”). Similar technologies — pixels, local storage, tags — work the same way, and this policy covers them all.
2.The cookies we use
| Category | What it does | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Makes the site work: your cart, checkout, sign-in, currency and security. These cannot be switched off, because the store cannot function without them. | Session, cart and security cookies set by lampandglow.com |
| Preferences | Remembers choices you make — such as your market and currency — so you don’t repeat them. | Currency & region cookies |
| Analytics | Shows us, in aggregate, how the site is used — which pages are read, where visitors arrive from — so we can improve it. Loaded through Google Tag Manager. | Google Analytics 4 |
| Advertising | Measures whether our advertising is worth its place, and helps show our pieces to people likely to care. Set only with your consent. | Meta Pixel; similar measurement tools of advertising platforms we use |
3.Your choices
- The consent banner. On your first visit you can accept all, refuse all non-essential, or choose by category. You can reopen these settings at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in our footer.
- Your browser. Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the store — such as the cart — from working.
- Platform opt-outs. Google offers an Analytics opt-out, and Meta offers ad-preference controls within its own services.
4.Third-party cookies
Analytics and advertising cookies are set by their providers — principally Google and Meta — under their own privacy terms. We choose partners carefully and share no more than the measurement requires. How these partners handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
5.How long cookies last
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies last from a few days to a defined maximum set by each provider, after which they renew only if you visit again — and only within the consent you have given.
6.Changes & contact
When our cookies change, this page and its date change with them. Questions are welcome at support@lampandglow.com.
