Description+
Three caged bulbs, hung from a beam on loops of rope.
Rope, iron and wire cages all come from the harbour. Sailing ships of the 1800s hung their deck lanterns in guards like these and lashed everything else with hemp. The fitting keeps that logic: a rope-bound beam on two chains, with three pendants dropped from it at different lengths.
At 75 cm long it follows the line of a dining table or a kitchen counter, where three small lights do the work of one large one.
